Description	Welcome to Epic Minigames, where you can enjoy a selection of 128 unique and exciting minigames, leveling up and earning coins each time you win. Spend coins on gear, pets, effects, and other cool stuff that will make your character more awesome.

Epic Minigames (usually abbreviated as EM) is a game created by TypicalType (Group Owner of Typical Games) and developed with the help from Azarctic and TheSteelEagle. The game allows players to play an assortment of minigames with different maps.

Gameplay

Players have a certain amount of time to complete certain minigames. Players are given 10 coins for winning and an additional five more coins in Pro servers. Players can buy many things from the shop with the coins they get from completing minigames, such as gears, effects, titles, and pets. Players can also complete daily missions to earn items and coins.

Players can also opt to play with friends or random players in Epic Party, a board game-styled gamemode where players can play minigames in a new and fun way, where they will compete to get as many crystals as possible through board game maps to get the top spot.

On some occassions, players are able to earn more rewards through Epic Pass, where they can complete challenges to earn Stars to redeem new rewards through the Epic Pass Star Shop or from the Star progress bar. If players are up for a bigger challenge, they can challenge themselves to compete to get into the weekly and seasonal leaderboards, where players can get various prizes, depending on what place they end up on at the end of the leaderboard time period.

Features

Lobby

The Epic Minigames lobby, built by worthyshiningkazoo, includes a variety of things to do during intermissions between minigames. These include an array of terrain of which to explore, a cannon to shoot yourself to the other side of the lobby, a leaderboard room which features fanart by players, shop stalls for the developers, a small obstacle course, a beach where players can shoot beach balls into the sea via an interactive button, and a lobby train with rails that come in and out of existence.

There are multiple easter eggs in the lobby which include:

• Void room - Drop down behind the pot plant in the far left corner of the leaderboard room
• Camera room - Clip through a certain spot in the wall behind the developer stalls
• Mask room - Drop through a bush next to a campfire near the lighthouse
• Secret room - Click on all five hats scattered around the lobby, then go to the trapdoor opposite the lighthouse
  • At 12 AM on your device's time, the secret room has a 50% chance to show an abandoned version of the old lobby. Players will have "not playing" forced on upon entering the abandoned lobby and their main objective is to find a golden key. Players would have to click the key located somewhere in the abandoned lobby then head to the big door. Players would have to click on the lock to open the door and walk through the door. Once done, players would be teleported back to the main lobby and receive a "???" badge.

Daily Missions

Every player is given three missions to complete. Each mission completed gives 30 coins. When a player completes three missions, they will obtain a random effect, gear, or title. If they wish to complete an additional mission, they are required to buy the VIP gamepass.

Shop

The shop allows you to buy titles, gears, effects, pets and death effects. It allows the player to freely express themselves through the various options provided.

Update Board

On 18 November 2022, an update board was added next to one of the current minigame boards. It showcases what was added from the last three updates, from new maps and new minigames to new features.

Choice Rains

Choice Rains were added to Epic Minigames on 28 July, 2023 as part of the first of three updates to celebrate Epic Minigames hitting 2 billion visits. Players can choose between coin rains, minigame choice rains and star rains. Once bought, the selected amount of coins/minigame choices/stars will rain down in the lobby, allowing anyone that is in the lobby to pick them up and collect them.

Do note that:

• Buying choice rains is much cheaper than buying directly from the source.
• Star Rains are only purchasable when an Epic Pass season is currently running.

NPC Quests

NPC quests were added to the game during the 2 Billion Visits Milestone Update event on 28 July, 2023. It was a way to allow players to interact with NPCs and complete tasks to earn rewards such as coins, minigame choices and items.

Chests

There are 3 chests in the game, with them being located near the front of the beach.

Servers

Current Server Types

There are currently four server types in Epic Minigames: Normal, Pro, Private and Large Servers.

Normal	Normal Servers are the basic servers of Epic Minigames. This type of server can hold up to 12 players. Normal Servers contain all minigames. Winning a minigame grants 10 coins.
Pro	Pro Servers are unlocked once players reached Level 24 and earned the Pro Badge. Pro Servers has all current minigames and can hold up to 12 players. It is similar to Normal Servers but the time limit is shorter in certain minigames and some minigames are harder than the normal version. Winning a minigame grants 15 coins.
Large	Large Servers can hold up to 36 players. Winning a minigame grants 10 coins to a player like a Normal Server. However, not all minigames are available in the Large Servers as they are being converted for compatibility with Large Servers. Also, in some minigames where only one player could win, the winners are increased to 3 max winners and most Free-for-All minigames are increased to many winners depending on how many players are in the server.
Private	Private Servers (formerly known as VIP Servers) are a type of server that a player can purchase to play with friends. A Private Server originally costs 100 Robux, which later became free on 8 January, 2021. The wins on the Monthly Leaderboard & Epic Pass Weekly and Seasonal Leaderboards do not increase in Private Servers. The total wins earned in private servers are capped to 1,000 wins and 2,000 wins for non-VIPs and VIPs respectively every month to prevent people from farming wins. Private Servers were once planned to have a difficulty toggle in which the Private Server owner could switch between Normal and Pro difficulties. This idea was then replaced with a difficulty command that allows the Private Server owner to change the server difficulty, with the reasons of this change currently being unknown. Private Server owners can buy the Private Server Powers gamepass, which costs 899 Robux, that allows the private server owner to pick minigames for free, execute some fun commands, change the server difficulty and ban players from their VIP server, all from their own private server.

Removed Server Types

There were two server types that were removed in Epic Minigames: Massive and Voice Chat servers.

Massive

As part of Epic Minigames's 1 Billion Visits Milestone update (which lasted for two weeks from 2 May, 2020 to 16 May, 2020), 72-player large servers (or also known as Massive servers) were temporarily added for two weeks to celebrate 1 billion visits during the 2-week celebration update. Since then, Massive servers have never been brought back, most likely due to the Roblox servers unable to handle a huge amount of players at a time.

Voice Chat

Voice Chat servers were added to Epic Minigames on 22 January, 2022 due to the surge in suggestions for having a Voice-Chat only server. This server had gears disabled to let the players chat without getting disrupted by gears. Unfortunately, it was removed on 12 March, 2022 due to the unpopularity of the server type.

Trivia

• Before TypicalType worked on Epic Minigames, he was working on The CrusheR, another game Typical Games manages, where he met worthyshiningkazoo, one of the initial developers that made Epic Minigames.
• As a joke and to poke fun at Roblox's decision of naming games as "experiences" due to the Apple vs Epic Games lawsuit, on 15 May, 2021, the game name was temporarily changed to "Epic Miniexperiences" for a day, before changing it back to "Epic Minigames" due to "popular demand".
• Epic Minigames was featured in the RB Battles Season 1 finale where Tofuu, KreekCraft, BriannaPlayz and SeeDeng battled it out to determine who is the RB Battles Season 1 champion.
• There are multiple secret easter eggs in the lobby.
  • The rainbow hat located on top of a plant in the leaderboard room pays homage to the rainbow outfit that TypicalType used to be known for, before donning the blue chicken suit that he is now known for today.
  • The skull hat located near the campfire is a reference to worthyshiningkazoo, a former developer and lobby builder for the game.
  • The viking hat located in the red tent is a reference to TheSteelEagle, a game developer and minigame maker for the game.
  • The black bucket hat with silver stripes located at the dock is a reference to pullyourtangles, who is notable for illustration in the community.
  • The black-and-white fedora located behind the rock near the slide is a reference to Nelispouwer, an ex-moderator for Typical Games and contributor to Epic Minigames.
  • There is a portal in a secret room in the leaderboard room, which brings the player to Archery Simulator, a former game that Typical Games used to manage and is now known as "the forbidden game". To access the portal, players will have to go to the top left corner of the room and fall into the black void room.
  • The aircraft that is in the secret room of the lobby as well as the logo near the secret room door makes a reference to Silent Assassin, another game that Typical Games manage.
• The train that roams the lobby is the same one used in the Original map of Train Trouble.
• The font used for the title is called SF Slapstick Comic.
