Blast Mining is a minigame in Epic Minigames. There are currently four maps for this minigame: Original, Badlands, Moon and Prismarine.
Appearance[]
Original[]
The location of the map is inside of a cave full of crystals. The crystals are purple in this map.
Badlands[]
The map is set in a deserted wasteland. In the background are bones and ribcages, dead trees, crates and crystal formations sticking out of rocks. The crystals are orange in this map.
Moon[]
The map takes place on the moon. A moon base in the form of a building is seen, with large satellite dishes and satellites floating above the map. There are other equipments such as crates, rovers, and solar panels. The crystals are dark blue in this map.
Prismarine[]
The map takes place in an underwater cavern. The background features sea life such as corals and seaweed, parts of a shipwreck such as the hull and a hanging anchor, a few chests and large crystals. The crystals are green in this map.
Gameplay[]
Players must mine crystals and avoid mining bombs with the choices of using either the spacebar or mouse for 60 seconds. The bombs spawn at random times, so there is no clear pattern.
Mining the crystals will give you one point. However, mining the bombs will cause you to lose two points. The three players with the most points will win.
Tips[]
- Crystals may spawn more than four or five times in a row, but is very unlikely.
Trivia[]
- This minigame seems to have similar rules to Mario Party 10's Bomb-omb Bogey.
- The Original, Moon, and Prismarine maps were updated with new thumbnails on 22 July, 2022. Moon and Prismarine were also updated with blue and green crystals on that same day respectively.
- Moon was originally called Moon Operation, but was renamed to its current name on 22 July, 2022.
- Badlands was originally called Badlands Edge, but was renamed to its current name on 19 May, 2023.
